Trenton Almgren-Davis is a photo editor and documentary photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri. He has experience documenting religion, sports, news and culture. He is available for assignment.

Previously, Almgren-Davis worked as Photo Editing Fellow for Business Insider, where he produced visuals for their digital audience. He worked with freelance photographers nationally and internationally, collaborated with homepage editors to select breaking news images, and researched archival photographs. 

He also interned for The St. Louis ReviewThe Cascadia Daily News, The Columbia Missourian, Falling Creek Camp, the Riverfront Times, and the Missouri Botanical Garden

Almgren-Davis attended the University of Missouri School of Journalism, where he earned a Masters of Arts in Journalism in 2022.  His involvement as a lead coordinater for Pictures of the Year  deepened his appreciation for photojournalism, having the privilege to listen to intelligent discussions about photo editing and visual storytelling from the industry’s top producers and photographers.

He attended The Kalish 2024 workshop at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

Almgren-Davis's work has been recognized by College Photographer of the Year, Missouri Press Association and the Missouri College Media Association.
